Monad Software was established in 2009 with a mission to "do ticketing right" by
designing a system from scratch based on the needs of a modern box office today.
Monad Ticketing has online sales at it core, rather than traditional box office
processes, and harnesses the power, performance and maintainability of modern technology
and development best practice. Initial development was complete by early 2011, and
the first tickets were sold through Monad Ticketing in June 2011.
Ben was Technical Director at Artifax and then Director of System Development at
Galathea STS which until April 2010 was the supplier of the ENTA system. He left
Galathea in 2009 to set up Monad Software. Ben has over 10 years experience in the
ticketing and events industry with extensive knowledge of software architecture
and proven track record in designing and delivering scalable systems. He is based
Andrew was Development Management at Questionmark Computing, a respected provider
of computer based assessment products and services. He joined Monad Software in
2011. Andrew has over 10 years experience of developing software solutions in a
number of fields. He has a passion for usability, agile development practices and
a sound knowledge of software design and implementation. He is based in Aberdeen.
Jo was the Sales Manager at Enta Ticketing Solutions and then UK Sales & Account
Manager at Social Events. With over 15 years experience of sales, project and account
management in the arts, entertainment and sports industries she has worked closely
with the Ambassador Theatre Group, the Barbican, Brands Hatch and Tate galleries to
name a few. Jo is very focused on client requirements and has an excellent reputation
for post-sale client support. She joined Monad Software in 2012 and divides her time
between London, Belfast and East Yorkshire.
